The transformation databases for Brazil were computed in the frame of the cooperation of IBGE with the GE-FEM – IBGE Working Group GT3 (Tranformations between Reference Frames).

Information on the Computation of Transformation-Databases for Brazil

With respect to the Classical Brazil network datum (CA, SAD69 and SAD96) the following transformation databases were computed:

CoPaG databases: Brazil Classical Reference Frames --> SIRGAS
DFLBF databases: Brazil SIRGAS --> Brazil Classical Reference Frames

The figure 1 shows the situation of the meshing design together with the accuracy surface for the transition between Brazil Reference Frame SAD96 and SIRGAS (CoPaG and DFLBF). Figures 2, 3 and 4 show the meshing design and the identical points for the transition between Brazil Reference Frame CA in the three different Epochs (E1, E2, E3) and SIRGAS (CoPaG and DFLBF).
